- For 20 years, Matt Belcher has been a zealous advocate for injured workers at the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and in the Circuit Court of Cook County. The son of a union carpenter, Matt graduated from Creighton University School of Law and is admitted to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the Federal Trial Bar, the US District Court Northern District of Illinois, US District Court Northern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit. Matt is the Secretary for the national Workers Injury Law & Advocacy Group in Washington DC and appears regularly on Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, WGN and CLTV news. Matt is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice, and was elected to the Board of Manager of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association in 2011 and 2012.
